Real Estate Commission announces free virtual Condorama XIV event for April 19

The Real Estate Commission, in collaboration with the Community Associations Institute Hawaii Chapter, will conduct a free virtual event, "Condorama XIV," on April 19, 2025. The event will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and aims to address issues pertinent to the condominium community.

The event is designed for condominium owners and is open to the public, with registration available online at https://www.caihawaii.org/. A recording of the webinar will be accessible on the CAI Hawaii and Real Estate Branch Condorama websites after the live presentation.

Clifford J. Treese, a consultant recognized nationally for his expertise, will present data-driven solutions concerning underwriting, risk management, and insurance for community associations. He will discuss topics including risk management in the context of current hazards such as wildfires in California and Hawaii, and strategies for building community partnerships.

Wes Brum, an Account Executive at Insurance Associates, Inc., will speak on the essentials of flood insurance. His presentation will cover the national flood insurance program, risk ratings, private flood insurance, coverage details, and the process for claims. Brum holds designations in various insurance specialties, including National Flood Insurance.
