The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) is set to initiate a statewide health and media survey later this month. The survey aims to gather information on how residents access and respond to health-related information. A novel approach using text messaging will be employed to reach a wider demographic.

Selected adults throughout Hawai‘i may receive a text from either 808-431-0118 or 808-431-0125 with an invitation to participate. This latest survey methodology is being introduced to expand the engagement pool. The department encourages recipients to consider taking part in the survey.

Completion of the survey is estimated to take about 10 minutes. Each text will include a unique link, usable only once, ensuring all responses remain confidential. No personal identifiers will be traced back to survey participants.

Professional Data Analysts is managing the administration of the survey on behalf of the DOH. Questions regarding the survey can be directed to [email protected].
