Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes (“HRS”) Chapter 127A and due to the public health concerns related to COVID-19, I hereby amend the Mayor’s COVID-19 First Amended Emergency Rule No. 19 adopted on December 1, 2021.

Mayor's Eleventh Supplementary Emergency Proclamation

WHEREAS, Chapter 127A Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, provides for the establishment of emergency management and disaster relief, including the Mayor having direct responsibility and authority over emergency management within the County

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Hawai‘i Revised Statutes Chapter 127A and due to the public health concerns related to COVID-19, I hereby adopt and promulgate the following rules which have the force and effect of law.




Environmental Assessment Required for Pohoiki Road Projects

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has informed the County of Hawai‘i that an Environmental Assessment is required for restoration of Pohoiki Road under the National Environmental Policy Act.
