Census Bureau: 85.3 percent of people in Hawi were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 1,166 citizens living in Hawi in 2019, 994 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 502 of those people were female and 492 were male.
