Bill 230: PROVIDES FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I DOWNTOWN HILO BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2, AS AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 35 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS
Establishes a Business Improvement District to finance certain infrastructure improvements and supplement public safety, sanitation, transportation, and landscaping services in the Downtown Hilo area, to be applied to 183 parcels assessed at $500 per parcel each year.
