The Real Estate Commission, in collaboration with the Community Associations Institute Hawaii Chapter, is set to host a free virtual event titled "Condorama XIII." This educational webinar will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It aims to provide valuable insights into various aspects of condominium living.

This event is primarily intended for condominium owners but is open to the general public. Interested participants can register online at https://www.caihawaii.org/. A recording of the event will be available afterward on both the CAI Hawaii and the Real Estate Branch Condorama websites.

Among the topics covered, Marcus Kawatachi, Deputy Executive Director of the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission (HCRC), will discuss the HCRC's role and how complaints are handled. He will also cover common types of claims and offer tips on avoiding complaints.

Additionally, Jeffrey Owens, CSP, CTM, CVP, Major-HPD Ret., will address strategies for dealing with violence in community associations.
