The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) has granted approval for TCG Retro Market 1, doing business as Cure Oahu, to operate as a medical cannabis retail dispensary. The new facility, located at 70 Kihapai St. in Kailua, passed its final on-site inspection and is set to begin sales on December 5, 2024.
This new location will be the tenth dispensary on Oʻahu and the 25th across the state. As of December 2, 2024, there were 30,035 registered in-state patients and 2,609 caregivers statewide. On Oʻahu alone, there are 14,798 patients and 1,463 caregivers registered. Severe pain is reported as the primary condition among adult patients; for those under 18, severe pain along with post-traumatic stress disorder and seizures are prevalent conditions.
“Cure Oahu’s new dispensary in Kailua will provide much-needed access to patients on the windward side of Oʻahu,” stated DOH Dispensary Licensing Supervisor Liam Gimon.
