The Hawaiʻi Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA), through its Business Registration Division (BREG), reminds businesses to file their annual business reports. These reports, critical for maintaining good business standing, are due according to the entity's registration date and must be submitted within the specified quarter.

Businesses registered in the second quarter (April to June) are urged to file their reports online at https://hbe.ehawaii.gov/annuals. Additionally, quarter-one reports must be submitted by midnight (HST) on June 30, 2025, to avoid late penalties.

The fees applicable for online filings are structured as follows: $12.50 for LLCs, profit corporations, and LLPs, $2.50 for nonprofit corporations, and $5.00 for partnerships. Payments can be made via credit card, eCheck, or an eHawaii.gov subscriber account.

For businesses whose filings are overdue, submissions can still be made online, although a $10 late fee will apply per year of delinquency. Timely filing is advised as it helps in qualifying for various business supports like contracts and loans.

Special caution is advised against any communications not from the Hawai‘i Business Registration Division, as BREG neither uses nor endorses third-party services for filings. Additional information can be found at https://cca.hawaii.gov/breg/public-alerts/.

Effective January 1, 2023, BREG has shifted from mailed reminders to electronic notifications via MyBusiness Notifications, accessible at https://hbe.ehawaii.gov/documents/notify/myNotifications.
