U.S. Senator Mazie K. Hirono announced that a bipartisan resolution recognizing the contributions of National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) has passed the Senate. The resolution was co-sponsored by Senators Martin Heinrich, Katie Britt, and Cindy Hyde-Smith.

Senator Hirono emphasized the significance of teachers in shaping students' futures: "Our teachers are critical to the development and success of our students and National Board Certified Teachers across the country go even further to ensure they can set students up for lifetimes of success," she stated.
